When you come to my studio in Surrey for a consultation or fitting, you'll find a warm welcome in a relaxed environment. Wildacre is in a calm, secluded setting at the end of a lane, surrounded by woods.
I make and fit all Couture Bridal Gowns and alterations personally, with great care and attention to detail. I have a very experienced team with whom I have worked for several years, making my Collections for Brides and Bridesmaids. A great deal of my business comes from previous brides' recommendations, and you'll see my work in progress when you visit the studio. I also exhibit annually at the National Wedding Show at Earls Court, London.
My Background
Childhood summers at home in Surrey were often spent at our sewing machine... I come from a family of dressmakers, so was really taught to sew by my mother. I went on to study Couture Bridal wear at the London College of Fashion, have a degree in Italian and spent a year in Florence. I was an Area Manager for Monsoon for several years, before setting up the business, which I naively thought would allow more time for gardening, running and playing my cello. Fortunately however, I spend every day doing what I love, so I wouldn't have it any other way, as this is, in fact, my vision.
